USING AI AS A TOOL TO ENHANCE INDUSTRIAL EFFICIENCY In partnership with start-ups including Dessia, Neural Concept, and Innodura, OPmobility uses AI, a powerful boost to efficiency and speed, to strengthen its testing, prototyping, and certification processes. The Group can thus accelerate the design, simulation, and validation of its products, while also improving accuracy, quality, and safety. In a sector in which manufacturers’ needs are constantly evolving, new smart solutions and tools which use AI can halve vehicle development time, depending on the region. This reduction in lead times is made possible by an ecosystem focused on open innovation. For example, in 2025, the Group’s partnership with the start-up AIRY Automotive led to the development of a new generation of lightweight battery chassis which were 3D printed using composite materials. Offering up to a 50% reduction in the weight of the mechanical part of the battery, up to 30% fewer manufacturing-related CO2 emissions, a 10% lower cost, and a 10% improvement in vehicle range, it received Plug and Play’s Global Innovation Award in 2025.
