With a particular viewpoint linked to their knowledge of the business, they bring a complementary perspective and enrich the quality of the Board’s discussions. Mrs. Amandine Chaffois, appointed by the Group Works Council in France, is the Innovation Manager in the Plastic Omnium Industries’ Intelligent Exteriors Systems business, at the ∑-Sigmatech research center in France, in the Lyon region. Mr. Ireneusz Karolak, appointed by the European Consultation Committee, is Purchasing Manager in the Plastic Omnium Industries’ Clean Energy Systems business in Poland. They were both appointed in 2019 for a three-year term of office. As soon as they became directors, they participated in a training program delivered by an external firm covering in particular the role and function of the Board of Directors and the directors’ rights, obligations and responsibilities. They also took part in an onboarding program designed to improve their knowledge of the Group’s organization and businesses. Mrs. Chaffois and Mr. Karolak receive compensation as members of the Board of Directors in accordance with the same distribution rules as the other directors. The components of their compensation as employees is not published.
