Safety has always been at the heart of OPmobility’s design principles; its pioneering technologies include the first adaptive headlight (ADB) approved in the United States and the first exterior RGB lighting system in the world to enable vehicles to communicate through color. From red for emergency braking to green for recharging, this system improves interaction with pedestrians and emergency services Improving the driving experience On the roads, innovation actively contributes to user safety, connectivity solutions, and customized design. With its cutting-edge, forward-looking technological solutions, OPmobility is making it possible for vehicles to take an active role in road safety and prevention, while also offering smarter, more connected, and customizable experiences. VEHICLES DESIGNED FOR USERS As mobility becomes more connected and autonomous, exterior lighting has an increasingly important role to play. OPmobility is therefore developing smart solutions which combine innovative design and embedded electronics to improve communication between vehicles and with their environment. These innovations include the Digital Front Fascia, which was presented at CES Las Vegas (United States) in January and at VivaTech (France) in June. This technological breakthrough transforms the bumper into a visual and audio communication tool, with a front-end system incorporating a curved mini-LED screen which improves road safety in urban areas through dynamic messages and alerts. SAFETY AT THE HEART OF SYSTEM CONNECTIVITY Technological progress and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) also require enhanced system connectivity to ensure both the effective functioning of modules manufactured by OPmobility and user safety. In an environment in which autonomous, connected, and traditional vehicles interact, cybersecurity and software protection have become vital. This entails the ability to detect and respond to incidents, protect user data, and provide safe and secure software updates throughout a vehicle’s entire life cycle. In 2025, in keeping with the Group’s principles of open innovation, OP’nSoft, the cross‑functional entity which brings together software development activities for OPmobility’s mobility products and services, signed a partnership with WedoLow, a company specializing in optimizing the performance and efficiency of embedded and hosted applications for the automotive industry. The aim is to reduce the energy consumption of integrated vehicle software while enhancing system security. ALL TECHNOLOGIES 32 | for you, we’re transforming mobility
