David Meneses has been appointed Honorary President of Elles bougent, a leading French association that encourages girls and young women to pursue STEM careers. This appointment reflects OPmobility’s long-standing commitment to gender diversity and its ambition to attract, develop and retain more female talent.
A partnership making a difference
For more than 15 years, OPmobility has supported Elles bougent through a network of female role models, engineers and technicians who promote technical and scientific careers.
Today, more than 200 OPmobility employees, mainly in France, Morocco and Spain, are engaged as mentors and ambassadors, sharing their experience with thousands of young girls and helping challenge stereotypes.
Accelerating our impact
At a time when industry faces growing talent shortages, broadening the talent pool is essential. OPmobility is determined to help increase women’s representation in engineering, manufacturing and operations roles.
As Honorary President, David Meneses will help amplify this momentum, support the association’s international development and contribute to inspiring more young women worldwide to join the industry.
Acting for people, moving gender diversity forward
This long-standing partnership is part of the Group’s ACT FOR ALL people and sustainability program. Its Act for People pillar supports talent development, diversity and inclusion, and local initiatives. This ambition also comes to life through WoMen on the Move, the Group’s global gender diversity network, which brings together more than 750 employees across 30 countries to share best practices, raise awareness and drive local action.

“Beyond gender diversity, this is a strategic challenge for the competitiveness and future of our industry. Elles bougent delivers concrete results by inspiring young girls through powerful role models and real-life stories. I would like to thank all our mentors, ambassadors, and employees engaged in advancing gender diversity across OPmobility. As Honorary President, my ambition is to amplify this momentum and help bringing even more women in our industry.”
