OPmobility has been recognized by Volkswagen South America during the annual supplier event The One in Rio de Janeiro, receiving the award in the Partnership VW Argentina category. The distinction highlights more than 16 years of collaboration between the two companies and their shared contribution to Volkswagen’s development in South America.
A long-standing partnership
OPmobility started supplying Volkswagen in Argentina in 2009, only two years after the opening of the Pilar plant. Since then, Volkswagen has become a key customer and an important part of OPmobility’s history in South America.
Over the years, OPmobility has contributed to several major Volkswagen programs in the region, including two generations of the VW Suran, three generations of the Amarok and one generation of the Taos.
This long-standing collaboration reflects the continuity of a relationship built through successive vehicle programs and sustained support for Volkswagen’s operations in the region.
A partnership built on performance
Beyond the longevity of the relationship, the award also reflects the operational performance delivered by OPmobility’s teams in Argentina.
Over the last 12 months, OPmobility has achieved zero customer complaints from Volkswagen Argentina in both quality and logistics. Despite the challenges and volatility of the South American market, the teams have continued to deliver reliable service while supporting key Volkswagen programs across the region.
This performance has helped strengthen a partnership that continues to evolve and support Volkswagen’s ambitions in South America.
Supporting Volkswagen’s future in South America
Most recently, OPmobility was selected to support the upcoming Patagonia project, the next-generation Amarok and one of Volkswagen’s key future launches for the South American market.
The project marks a new milestone in a collaboration that began in 2009 and reflects Volkswagen’s continued confidence in OPmobility’s capabilities and long-term support in the region.
