According to the new IFRS standards 10/11/12, applicable from January 1, 2014, revenue for Compagnie Plastic Omnium amounted to €1,103.5 million in the First-Quarter of 2014.

2013 revenue rises 6.6% to €5.1 billion
Compagnie Plastic Omnium’s revenue for the year ended 31 December 2013 totaled €5,124.5 million, representing an increase over the previous year of 6.6% as reported and 9.2% at constant scope of consolidation and exchange rates.
Plastic Omnium expands its presence in China with the opening of e new Automotive Development Center
Plastic Omnium has inaugurated a development center for its exterior parts business in the Chinese city of Anting, 30 kilometers from Shanghai.

On October 11th, Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior has opened a development center in Lozorno, Slovakia, which will work primarily with German carmakers.
110 engineers and technicians from eight different countries
With 1,300 sq.m. of office space and 300 sq.m. of laboratories, the center employs a team of 110 engineers and technicians from eight different countries and will be able to accommodate up to 160 employees.
The center hosts the main support services for the industrial development of automotive projects: computer aided design (CAD), styling, product engineering, industrial engineering, quality control, sales and purchasing.
It works closely with the ?-Sigmatech research & development center, and technological cooperation agreements have also been signed with the universities of Bratislava and Ko?ice in Slovakia and Zlín in the Czech Republic.
The center will work primarily with German carmakers.

It is under the banner of “Innovative for a better Future” that POAE and POAI presented show their innovations that address current auto industry demands to make vehicles lighter and cleaner.
Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior presented in particular the all-plastic tailgate for the Peugeot 308, which is being unveiled for the first time and heralds a new generation of rear opening modules.
Among several technologies, Plastic Omnium Inergy presented the TSBM* process for manufacturing fuel tanks, which is now used to equip small vehicles like the Mercedes A, B, CLA and GLA.
* Twin Sheet Blow Molding, a technology that enables equipment to be integrated into a fuel tank interior during the blow-molding process.
Plastic Omnium introduces the first entirely thermoplastic rear-opening module for the new Peugeot 308
Plastic Omnium has launched production of its first all-thermoplastic rear-opening module to equip the new Peugeot 308.
Designed at ?-Sigmatech and produced in two plants in France – Langres and Fontaine, the tailgate weighs 12 kg, or 3 kg less than the same product made of steel. In addition, the new tailgate offers carmakers greater freedom of design and is entirely recyclable.
Grand opening of a new Plastic Omnium Inergy plant in Huron, USA
On October 15th, Plastic Omnium had celebrating the grand opening and inauguration of a new Plastic Omnium Inergy plant in Huron, near Detroit.
This new facility will employs 400 skilled manufacturing and administrative workers, and will produce approximately 1.5 million plastic fuel tanks each year. Plastic Omnium Inergy has today three site in Michigan: Troy, Adrian and Huron.

Plastic Omnium has opened a development center in Lozorno, Slovakia, for its exterior and structural components operations.
The Langres plants celebrated their 50th anniversary!
On September 28 and 29, the Langres plants celebrated their 50th anniversary.
This ceremony celebrated both the starting point for the great Plastic Omnium adventure, with the creation of the first Group plant in record time, and the importance of Plastic Omnium for the local community.

A series of events were organized over these two days. The ceremony began by the inauguration of a square in the town center dedicated to Pierre Burelle, the Founder of the Group, and the presentation of the hall of painted ceilings in the Denis Diderot museum renovated thanks to the Plastic Omnium’s patronage.
Then the celebration brought together current and past employees of the Langres plants, and an open-door day allowed the families to become better acquainted with our professions.
Plastic Omnium awarded for its Industrial Excellence by PSA Peugeot Citroën
Last June, Plastic Omnium was awarded by PSA Peugeot Citroën for its Industrial Excellence at its ninth annual Supplier Awards.
This award recognises Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior, and particularly the French plant of Vernon, for its performance in terms of continuity, strategy, quality, logistics and continuous improvement in industrial processes.
The award was presented to Eric Auzépy, President of Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior during the ceremony hosted by Philippe Varin, PSA Chairman, Yannick Bézard, Purchasing Director, and the members of the board of directors involved more than 120 suppliers, of whom 23 were recognized for their achievements throughout 2012.
