These bins equipped with a microchip and a specific injection-molded lids, are being installed inside the 47 municipalities of Nice Côte d’Azur Métropole and its 540.000 inhabitants.
To ensure the durability and constant cleanliness of the bins, Plastic Omnium Environment will proceed to 33.000 washing operations per year. The washing trucks use the last technologies to better preserve the environment: washing in closed loop, use of an eco-certified washing product, developed jointly by the supplier and ?-Sigmatech, the R&D center of Plastic Omnium.
These trucks are also equipped with on-board computers for real-time monitoring and geolocation of their activity for the exploitation’s team, to optimize the service quality.
