OPmobility promotes irreproachable rules of conduct. Ethics is the cornerstone of the Group’s responsible performance and a major issue for a global player like Plastic Omnium.
Code of conduct, responsible purchasing and transparency are the fundamentals that make OPmobility a global responsible company, locally involved. Mechanisms are regularly updated to guarantee transparency, ethics and fight against corruption.

OPmobility also supports the highest standards of human rights in the conduct of its operations by joining internationally recognized organizations and initiatives:

Whistleblowing mechanism

Since 2018, an alert mechanism is available to report, with strict confidentiality, any situation that doesn’t conform to the code of conduct and ethical rules of the Group.

Alerts are tracked and processed anonymously by a dedicated committee.

Human rights

As a responsible employer, OPmobility ensures that the rights of its employees are strictly respected. The Group maintains this guideline throughout its value chain, whether in its contractual and partnership relations with suppliers, subcontractors or within its subsidiaries.

    Our commitments

    OPmobility has signed the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact since 2003. Each year, the Group publishes its CoP (Communication on Progress) on the operational deployment of its commitment actions.
    The Group also contributes to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations for 2030.

    In April 2022, the Group wished to support NGOs coming to the aid of victims of the war in Ukraine and made donations in favor of 4 NGOs located in Slovakia and Poland, for a total of 500,000 euros: Human in Danger, Magna, the Polish Red Cross and Polish Humanitarian Action, key players in the reception of refugees in Europe.

    More than 50 sites have launched a solidarity drive to help and support those suffering from the war in Ukraine, through donations of food, hygiene products, medicines and clothing.

    The Group is committed to encouraging diversity of all kinds (gender, training, age, etc.):
    - share of women in workforce: 31%;
    - percentage of women engineers and managers: 24.4%.

    The Group's adherence to the United Nations Global Compact in 2003 is, among other things, at the origin of its Diversity policy. The fight against all forms of discrimination is regularly reaffirmed and integrated into the Group's Code of Conduct.

    - energy decarbonization policy for sites (decarbonized energies, facilities to produce renewable energy, and PPA);

    Safety is an absolute priority in the management of the Group's activities:
    - FR2 accident frequency rate: 1.07;
    - number of people trained in Top Safety and Stop5: 981;
    - the Group also runs ethics awareness campaigns;

    - external audits: 9 sites certified or recertified to the TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) by 2022;
    - % of Group purchases assessed as part of the Know Your Suppliers approach: 95%.

    The Group will invest around €40 million to reduce energy consumption (electricity and gas) at its sites by 12% by 2025. This involves, for example, measuring the energy consumption of each piece of equipment more precisely in order to optimize its use, and replacing obsolete or over-consuming equipment where necessary.

    OPmobility has signed the Manifesto for the Inclusion of People with disabilities to affirm its commitments in this area.

    OPmobility is committed to circular economy initiatives in a number of areas
    - lifecycle analyses of OPmobility and supplier projects and products;
    - internal audits and observations by teams dedicated to ensuring compliance with quality protocols throughout the life of projects, at OPmobility plants and suppliers;
    - 86% of waste is recycled or reclaimed. Innovation, one of the Group's strategic pillars, is an essential factor in the implementation of projects promoting more sustainable mobility;
    - number of R&D centers: 39;

    - % of sites certified IATF 16 949: 95%.

    Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts by regulating emissions and promoting developments in renewable energy

    OPmobility is rolling out its carbon neutrality roadmap and accelerating the share of renewable energies in its energy mix. The "carbon neutrality" roadmap is aligned with the Paris Agreement and has been validated by SBTi in 2021.
    Climate objective: carbon neutrality on scopes 1 and 2 by 2025 and on scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2050.

    Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification. Halt and reverse land degradation and biodiversity loss.

    OPmobility is a signatory of the Global Compact, and together with the OPmobility Code of Conduct, these documents demonstrate the spirit of responsible commitment that has always characterized the Company. They set out the values that govern the individual and collective behaviors that OPmobility intends to promote, and determine the fundamental principles on which the rules and procedures of its internal control are rooted:
    - 98% of Group employees have completed the Code of Conduct online training module.
